Africa Vet Conservation Safari August 2025

Headed out on an adventure with a couple of my vet school class of 2023 classmates.

We started out in St. Lucia and our first wild animal to learn about was the hippo!

Hippos need to stay in the water during the day to keep themselves cool. At night you can find them walking into town in search of grass to eat. Warning signs can be found throughout town.
